Readers will remember that in March we published details of our involvement with a disabled girl called Noro, and we outlined the plans we had to help her back into mainstream society. As you will see from the latest report from Trustees Pat O’Brien and Stuart Martin this has not been entirely straightforward (few things are in Madagascar) but with a lot of hard work she and her grandmother who looks after her are now much better placed for the future. This story started out with the desire to help one disabled girl – and it has resulted in a far wider benefit for many others.
