About the TASC Madagascar Scholarship Scheme
For the the beneficiary students, the financial support they receive from TASC Madagascar supporters is so important. Without this support their further education studies would not be possible and would not be able to realise their dream for the future. The students all come from vulnerable families in the Ambalavao district of Madagascar. During the pandemic, some of the students are having to continue their studies on-line.

Major: Social Sciences
I am from Miarinarivo rural municipality. My mother died when I was 5 years old, so I and my 2 sisters lived with our grandparents.
At the end of my secondary schooling, my grandparent died too so we lived with our uncle. However, he could not afford for my high school studies – that’s why I applied for a scholarship with Ny Tanintsika NGO.
Now, I am in the 2nd year of my degree in Social Development Sciences and still benefit from the scholarship from Feedback Madagascar-Ny Tanintsika and TASC Madagascar.
After my studies, I want to work within an NGO that is contributing to social development like Ny Tanintsika.

When I was 3 years old, my parents got divorced. So, after then, I lived with my grandfather until I was 6 years – old when my father got married with another woman and I moved to live with them.
When I was at secondary school, my father got sick and was not able to work anymore. I decided to drop out of school because my family could not afford for it. But, after getting my BEPC diploma, I got a scholarship from Ny Tanintsika to continue my high school studies.
After I passed my baccalaureate exams, I still applied for support to Ny Tanintsika to continue my studies at University. Now, I study Life Sciences at the University of Fianarantsoa thanks to the support of Feedback Madagascar-Ny Tanintsika and TASC Madagascar.
After my studies, I want to be a researcher about medicines.
